This is my 6th week working during Covid.  Overall everything is going great.  Here’s a run down of what I’ve learned while working during Covid.

People want to get a massage during a pandemic.

I’m busier than ever.

People working from home is a new stress on their bodies.

Massage helps alleviate the workout pains and the computer pains.

Massage also gives one a chance to get out of the house.

Everyone willing wears a mask to get their massage.

There’s lots of hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray and cleaning before, during and after the massage.

I have way more laundry than ever.

Every blanket, sheet, towel gets put into the laundry outside my office after every session.

Thank goodness for my Dyson air purifier.  It’s really helping keep the air feeling soft and fresh.

It also eases peoples mind to know that the air is being filtered.

Many of my suite mates have not return to work.

Some of my suite mates have permanently closed their businesses.

While others have downsized.

The bathrooms are so clean.  OMG, this has to be the best part.

A nod to all the businesses in the building putting strict guidelines in place.

There’s way less foot traffic in our building.

Our building has taken necessary steps to mandate mask wearing and cleaning/wiping down surfaces all day.

Working during Covid.

So what’s it like to work in a pandemic?

It’s sterile, quiet, expressionless.

But it’s nice.

People are taking it serious.

Working during Covid has meant returning to a much safer environment for myself and clients.

I appreciate that people are taking it serious.

People see being able to get a massage as necessity.

It is a therapy they missed while on lockdown.

We are all doing our part to keep things safe for all so we can return to life as usual.
