Hi, I’m Felicia Hayes.  I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. I started Hayes Bodywork because I felt there was a need for a skilled manual therapist who specializes in using massage for pain management and recovery in Ashburn, VA.

Throughout my career, I have acquired a great deal of experience, training, knowledge, and skills.  My talents will accommodate the casual massage receiver to those seeking a highly skilled professional massage therapist.

I’ve also received massage for over 30 years.  I started receiving them to compliment my soccer training.  Having played soccer competitively growing up, my body just needed it. Bodywork has gotten me through many tough spots in my life.  It’s helped me recover from injuries, cope with depression, anxiety, and stress.

There was a period in my life where I stopped receiving massages, needless to say, I felt it mentally and physically. I’ve learned, there is nothing that can get you back on track or put your body into balance like good therapeutic massage and bodywork.

I jumped into this profession by coincidence.  In early September 2001, I returned to the US after living abroad and I had a hard time finding a job after 9/11.  So, I decided to take the opportunity to study massage. I loved massage for so long, saw and benefited from the therapy that it made perfect sense to join the profession. And, I haven’t looked back.
