Thai Foot Massage (Reflexology)
Thai foot massage is the application of pressure onto particular areas of the soles of the feet. A reflex action in another part of the body is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area. Foot reflexology massage uses hands, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, and a rounded wooden stick with lotion or oil. It is effective in stimulating the functions of the internal organs, and it is not harmful to your health.
Thai foot massage is a holistic healing technique that provides relaxation, balance in the body’s various systems, and healthy blood circulation. It is known as a therapy to foster general good health and mental serenity, and it’s great for breaking down crystals of calcium and uric acid (toxic wastes) that have accumulated in the feet and the body.

Benefits of Thai Foot Massage
Thai foot massage works by physically stretching and massaging the lower legs and feet. There are 10 major energy lines that run throughout the body from the top of the head down to the soles of the feet, where they end as pressure points. These points that provide a map of the whole body and the organs. By stimulating these we are able to encourage the mind and body to restore its own natural healthy balance, therefore keeping the whole body harmonized.
Thai foot massage can improve:
- Circulation in feet and legs
- Lymphatic drainage

Preparing for Thai Foot Massage (Reflexology)
The massage is usually given fully clothed. Wear loose comfortable clothes, preferably pants that are above the knee or can be rolled up above the knee. As reflexology should not be performed on someone with a full stomach, I suggest scheduling your appointment at least an hour after your last meal.
Reflexology is not recommended if the following exist: severe heart or serious health problems, pregnancy, menstruation, high fever, contagious disease or sores, broken foot or leg bones.
